Check these four things first
- 1Is the breaker for the well pump tripped? Reset it once. If it trips again, stop — something is drawing current it shouldn't.
- 2What does the pressure gauge on the tank read? Zero, stuck, or climbing and dropping all tell a different story.
- 3Is it the whole house or one fixture? One fixture is a plumbing problem, not a well problem.
- 4Is the water cloudy, sandy, or spitting air? If so, stop using it and call before you run the pump further.
